I try to read a chapter of Proverbs each day. This is a simple way to keep me on track; to discipline myself to read/think/pray/post...hopefully daily...a portion of scripture and make a comment or observation...and invite yours!Add your insights, comments, or disagreements concerning the proverb of the day in the "comments."

Wanna be a Peacemaker?
Proverbs 17.14 is a bit earthy, but astoundingly simple advice:
vs. 3 "The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and the LORD tests hearts."
thank you Lord for the hope beyond the trials! may "the tested genuineness of (our) faith... result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ," and may we "rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory"! (1 Peter 1:6-9)
